This is a photoshoot that I took in late 2019. It was a lot of fun and was an opportunity to learn how to pose children. I hadn’t gotten much of an opportunity before that. It was especially interesting because we were trying to work in the late afternoon around golden hour on a limited amount of time, but I think that they turned out awesome and I’m grateful to have been part of this family’s cute pictures. These were taken with a Nikon D3500 and edited with Luminar 3.
Something that I had to keep in mind while doing this photoshoot is deciding when to use the sun and when to utilize the shade. Especially to keep the sun out of their eyes. For example, when shooting their son, I mostly kept him in the shade because it was easier to position him and keep him smiling. But I was able to work with his parents in the sun more.
